A bit about me: I'm a Regina, Saskatchewan native with deep roots in the prairie soil. While I cherish my prairie heritage, my Canadian roots also hold a special place in my heart. My journey took a creative turn, and I discovered that transitioning from a corporate career to entrepreneurship was the best decision I ever made. I find joy in dedicating my days to crafting a unique shopping experience. Wheat Queens and Prairie Things blossomed in 2021 as a gifting company with a focus on supporting the local economy. Despite the challenges posed by Covid, we see a silver lining in the fact that people reconnected with long-forgotten joys and hobbies during that period. This rekindling of passions gave birth to numerous businesses, and recognizing the need for attention and support in our local market, Wheat Queens emerged on January 21, 2021.
As the world began to normalize post-Covid, the local market slowly faded from many minds, and the impacts of globalization once again created intense competition for local artisans. We curate our gift shop with treasures from across the country, crafting and shipping our unique gift baskets, crates, and boxes to every corner of Canada.
